1. General Terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings, participation, and services provided by Lost with a Local ApS (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By booking, attending, or participating in any tour, event, or experience, you (“the participant” or “you”) agree to be legally bound by these terms.

2. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

Participation in our tours is entirely at your own risk.

By joining, you acknowledge and agree that:

You voluntarily participate, understanding all inherent risks, including but not limited to walking in urban environments, consuming food or beverages, weather conditions, and interaction with public or private venues.

You are solely responsible for your own physical condition, safety, and personal belongings.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lost with a Local ApS, its owners, guides, employees, and partners shall not be liable for:

Personal injury, illness, allergic reactions, accidents, loss, or death

Property damage or theft

Any incident involving third-party services, restaurants, drivers, or locations used during the tour

3. Health, Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

It is your sole responsibility to inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions prior to the tour.

We cannot guarantee that food or drink tastings are free from allergens (e.g. nuts, gluten, dairy, shellfish, etc.).

Participation in food and drink experiences is entirely at your own risk, and we accept no responsibility for allergic reactions or medical incidents.

4. Conduct & Behavior

We reserve the right to remove any participant from a tour without refund in cases of:

Disruptive, disrespectful, aggressive, or unsafe behavior

Excessive intoxication

Non-compliance with guide instructions or tour rules

You are expected to act respectfully towards other participants, guides, and local establishments.

5. Payment Terms

Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

We accept online payments via approved platforms. Your booking is not confirmed until payment is received.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Customer cancellations:
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the tour start time may be eligible for a full or partial refund, depending on the type of tour.

Cancellations less than 24 hours before the start time are non-refundable.

Provider cancellations:

If Lost with a Local ApS cancels a tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. guide illness, safety concerns, or force majeure), you will receive a full refund or option to reschedule.

7. Third-Party Services

Our tours may include visits to restaurants, shops, transportation services, or other venues operated by independent third parties.

We do not accept liability for:

The condition, safety, hygiene, or service quality of third-party venues

Any incidents or damages occurring at or caused by those providers

8. Photography & Media

By participating in our tours, you agree that photos or videos may be taken for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in such media, please inform your guide before the tour begins.

We will never tag or name individuals without consent.

9. Force Majeure

Lost with a Local ApS is not liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, strikes, war, epidemics, government restrictions, or transportation issues.

10. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend all participants have personal travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, cancellations, and personal liability.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Danish law. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be settled under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Danish courts.

12. Acceptance

By booking or attending a tour with Lost with a Local ApS, you confirm that:

You have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

You release Lost with a Local ApS from any liability to the fullest extent permitted by law.
